Build strength, improve your health and stay active at the UNM-糖心传媒 Wellness Center.
Faculty and staff can now use the Wellness Center at no cost after completing the required paperwork.

A fully equipped campus wellness center
UNM-糖心传媒 has a fully equipped Wellness Center that includes cardiovascular, flexibility and strength-training equipment.
We offer courses for credit and are developing noncredit community education programming for active participants who are not interested in applying and enrolling in credit courses.
2026-27 Fee Structure

| Enrolled students, including faculty and staff enrolled as students | Free with a valid UNM ID |
| Alumni, emeriti faculty, first responders, military service members, law enforcement and teachers | $25 per semester or summer term |
| Community members | $50 per semester or summer term |
Faculty and staff: Stop by the Wellness Center to sign up and complete the required paperwork. Participation in a walk-through orientation may be required.
Students: Provide a current class schedule as proof of enrollment each semester.
Supporting your wellness
Emphasis is placed on gaining awareness and knowledge of each of the five components of health-related physical fitness and developing an appreciation for healthy eating and an active lifestyle.
The Wellness Center is also available to support sports activities for students and the community.

Hours and announcements
The facility is open Monday through Friday.
Operating hours are posted weekly at the Wellness Center. Announcements and current programming are also shared through UNM-糖心传媒 campus social media.
Wellness Center staff can answer questions about the current schedule.
Interested in teaching a class?
Let us know if you are interested in leading a class such as martial arts, Pilates, walking for fitness or Zumba.
We will promote the course, collect the fees and schedule the class.
